63rd GWI is now a 2-Day Meet!
Due to the high number of entries, the Meet Director has determined it is best for all to hold this Year’s Golden West Invitational on two days, June 3 & 4. The new schedules will be posted on the Meet Info page by 4pm on June 1. A reminder that the deadline to enter was May 30 at 11:59 pm, so entries are closed.

Countdown to registration deadline – May 30 at 11:59 pm for the 63rd Annual Golden West Invitational (June 3 at Cordova HS. in Rancho Cordova)! New this year: 2000m steeplechase, a special evening mile event for potential sub-4-minute milers, and it is the USATF Pacific’s Open Track and Field Championships (double points for PA Open Track & Field Grand Prix participants)! Events for Youth, High School, Open and Masters athletes! Schedules are posted.
2023 Schedules are Posted with 2 New Events!
New this Year: 2000m Steeplechase and for Potential Sub-4 Milers an Evening 4-Minute Mile!
High School Hammer will be held on Thursday, June 1, at the Golden State Throwers facility at 12050 Borden Rd. Herald, CA 95638. Weights and Measures will be at 6:30am for the morning throws and at 1pm for the afternoon throws.

The 62nd Annual Golden West Invitational is in the books and the final email was sent just a few minutes ago. It’s loaded with meet highlights, videos, photos of all the action from that long day of multi-generational competition.
