Here are the results of the Golden West Invitational held this weekend in Sacramento. Conditions were very windy during race time, as indicated by the number of negative wind readings in the sprint events and probably affected many of the times. However, there were many exciting moments provided by top athletes and it was a great meet.
While the National Scholastic Meet drew many top HS athletes, the Golden West was well represented with the likes of Obea Moore, Matt Elmuccio, Rhy Reynolds, double winners Ja'Warren Hooker and Aleah Williams, Julia Stamps and Charmaine Walker to name a few. Congrats to all who competed.
